Sonya Sauls Veterinary Assistant
Sonya Sauls has been a team member at SCAH since 2007. She has been in the veterinary profession for seven years and loves to learn new things in her career. The best part of her job is providing comfort to patients and ensuring they are well cared for. Born and raised in Smyth County, she is an avid horse lover with her favorite activity being riding horses in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Sonya also has a special place in her heart for Boxers. She lives with her husband, son, six horses, two dogs; Mugsy and Hank, one cat; Jingle Bell, and a rooster named Harry.
